This weekend marks a remarkable milestone for one of New Zealand rugby’s oldest clubs, the Rakaia Rugby Club, as they celebrate their 150th anniversary.

Founded in 1876, the club has stood the test of time—through generations of players, supporters, and communities—remaining a cornerstone of grassroots rugby in Mid Canterbury.
