This brand new Peninsula Darts Competition kicks off on 24th June at North Shore Rugby Club.

Grab your mates and put together your ultimate team of four for what promises to be a fantastic season of darts, competition, and good times. Whether you are a seasoned player or simply looking for a great social night out, this competition is the perfect excuse to head down to the club each week.

Competition nights will run every Wednesday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm over an 8-week season, with the bar open before and after those times for players and supporters to enjoy the evening. Each team will play three games spread throughout the night, creating a fun and social atmosphere with plenty of time to relax between matches.

Expect quality darts, a great atmosphere, good food, cold drinks, and plenty of banter as teams battle it out each week.

A running leaderboard will be maintained throughout the season, with points and results recorded weekly across the full 8 weeks. At the end of the competition, the top teams on the leaderboard will take home the following prizes:

  • 1st Place – $800
  • 2nd Place – $400
  • 3rd Place – Bar Tab

There will also be raffles held on selected competition nights.

To add to the atmosphere, North Shore Rugby Club will be offering a competition night special featuring a burger, fries, and a pint/glass of wine for only $20.

Format and Conditions

Format

  • The competition will feature a 2 vs 2 format playing 501,
  • Best out of three legs.
  • Each player must participate in one of the opening two legs.
  • If the match goes to a deciding leg, teams may nominate any two players to compete in the decider.

Conditions

  • Entry fee must be paid in full to secure your team’s spot
  • Entry fees are non-refundable once competition commences
  • Teams must consist of 4 players (substitutions permitted where required)
  • The club reserves the right to make adjustments to format if required
  • All matches must be played in the spirit of fair play and good sportsmanship
  • Prize money may be adjusted based on entry numbers
  • Any disputes will be reviewed by the organisers, whose decision is final
